Firstly, to Michelle. I have had your copy of Uglies for over three years now. And believe me I would just "give it back" if you weren't half a world away. Sorry about that. I also stole her pajama pants for anyone that's interested.
Sister Denley, I still have your copy of High Fidelity and I still haven't read it, although I've started like three times. One day you will get it back, if you're lucky. I'm surprised you still let me borrow your books... and your pens. Whoops!
And Lastly, my dear Ashleigh, I keep forgetting to ask Georgia for your copy of The Knife of Never Letting Go. Admittedly it hasn't been anywhere near as long as the other two people on this list, but I know how you are about your books. And sometimes two days without it is too much. So I promise to return that to you soon.
Basically, what I'm saying is people, don't lend me books unless you never want to see them again for whatever reason. If they're extremely good, I might "accidentally" steal them. If they take me a long time to get around to, it's totally not my fault.
Please forgive me kindred book lovers.
Sincerely, Mara :D
