What I liked: Well, it was an interesting social commentary. Looking at war from the perspective of a disinterested teenage girl. Or how a couple of children cope with it, when the only parental unit is stuck in a different country and the oldest person is like 16.
What I didn't like: Umm. I can't say I'm a huge fan of incest, but particularly teenage incest. Like, I get that there weren't any grown-ups around and that he made you a more stable person, but it was not necessary for you to have sex with your cousin.
Also, Daisy was whiny and annoying and had this weird telepathic bond with her cousin/boyfriend, Edmund. And none of the dialogue was written it was all narrated in her head so dialogue was italicized and I found that kind of annoying.
